Templates can either be created at an organisation level (accessible across all folders in the workspace) or within a team folder (only accessible in that folder).

We'd always recommend creating templates in the Home Folder, to ensure you have the option to access the templates across the workspace. This makes it easy to distribute the template to new folders/projects & allows you to see all the relevant forms in the one spot!

To create a template at the Organisation level:

  1. Go to the Home Folder

  2. Select the Template Library tab

  3. Click Add Template in the top right hand-side

  4. Select 'Build your own' to create a template from scratch, or 'Use a free public template' to use an existing one from our Template Library

  5. Pick between 'Timeline' and 'Workflow' for your template format - Timeline templates are best for recording ongoing, time-based logs without a status, while Workflow templates are designed to manage tasks or processes that move through defined stages

Note: Only Org Controllers can set up templates at this level

To create a template in a specific Team folder:

  1. Go to the relevant team folder

  2. Select the Templates tab

Note: Team members are not able to add templates
