When it comes to displaying table fields in the Dashpivot app (on phone or tablet), there are 2 ways of displaying the tables, as shown below:
Display Horizontally (default)
This is the default setting, which displays the tables the same way they appear on the website.
Display vertically
This option displays the column headings down the left side of the screen, and the row contents on the right. This block of information then repeats for each row in the table.
The benefit of this display option is no information is ever hidden off the screen, but can increase the length of the form considerably. We recommend this option when its critical the information in the table isn't missed/overlooked.
How to access the orientation settings
The table settings are located inside the template builder, on the table field:
Note: this means you can have some tables with the horizontal option selected, and others with the vertical option selected.
