This article highlights the differences in terms of access and functionality for Dashpivot and Sitemate users

You will notice in your Users section two different types of users - Dashpivot Users and Sitemate Users:

To determine if a staff member needs access as a Dashpivot Contributor or as a Sitemate user (Free or Paid), let's have a look at the differences in terms of access and functionality.

Dashpivot Contributors:

Required for internal administrators, management team, supervisors, leading hands, foremen

  • Access to your Dashpivot workspace

  • Ability to:

    • Record, access and download data

    • Access and download data recorded by other users

    • Approve forms through a workflow

    • Access project and team folders

    • Manage users (Controller level)

    • Set up new project and team folders (Controller level)

    • Create and deploy templates (Controller level)

    • Create, edit and share Sitemate Links with Sitemate users

    • Use the Scan and Sign function to record workforce attendance onto forms (eg: Toolbox Talks)

Sitemate Users:

Required for your internal or external workforce and operators

  • No access to your Dashpivot workspace

  • Data is submitted via the Sitemate Links functionality

  • Ability to:

    • Submit forms and photos

    • View their own submissions

    • Access a view-only copy of the forms they were scanned onto

Sitemate Paid Users:

  • Ongoing access to specific templates, to submit forms on an ongoing basis

  • Best suited for timesheets, machine/vehicle pre-starts, take-5s, job safety analysis (JSAs) and any processes that are conducted on a regular basis

Sitemate Free Users:

  • Can submit a single form at once for one or several templates

  • Best suited for inductions, site check-ins, remote toolbox talks, incident and near-miss reports, room completion sign-off
