Common Xero flow errors in Flowsite

The Runs tab in Flowsite lists all the connections made between Dashpivot & Xero.

If you notice that a run has received an error, below lists some of the common errors/warnings & how to rectify them:

Error: Some hours have no tracking item specified

When you've mapped a Dashpivot column to a tracking category, all line items must contain a tracking item

Make sure a tracking item is specified for the hours, and try again.

Error: Employee could not be found in Xero

Names need to identically between Dashpivot & Xero else Flowsite won't be able correctly match the information

Review the naming of this individual in both Dashpivot and Xero to check they are identical

Tip: Check there are no additional 'spaces' at the start/end of the name

Error: Tracking item could not be found in Xero

The tracking item selected on Dashpivot couldn't be found in Xero

Review the naming of the tracking item in both Dashpivot and Xero to check they are identical

Tip: Check there are no additional 'spaces' at the start/end of the name

Error: More than one pay period detected

The dates selected in the table do not all fall within the same pay period for the employee

Make sure all dates fall in single pay period, and try again

Error: No contact specified

A contact must be specified for the Xero invoice/bill integration

Warning: Some hours have no date specified

In the form, date fields are missing data

Make sure a date is specified for the hours, and try again.

Tip: Make this field Required in the form so that users can't leave it blank
