Queries are essential for monitoring and maintaining high data quality. They allow you to detect, review, and resolve data discrepancies efficiently.
This guide explains how to use and manage queries effectively in Datacapt.
Step 1 : Create a query
A query can be created in two ways:
Automated Query : Generated automatically through a data validation rule.
Manual Query: Created manually during the data review
Step 2 : Understand a Query Lifecycle
A query has the following life cycle:
Opened: A new query is created and needs to be reviewed by the person responsible for data entry.
Resolved: The query has been answered and managed. The person in charge has marked it as resolved.
Closed: The query resolution has been confirmed by the person responsible for data review.
Each step is associated with specific permissions configured in Role Management. A user may have all three permissions or be limited to specific actions based on the study organization.
A query can contain multiple messages, functioning like a chat discussion for better collaboration.
Step 3 : Answer and Resolve a Query
Prerequisite :The query must have the status "Opened". The user must be assigned a role with the permission to resolve queries.
