Invite a user to a study

Once your study is created, you can grant access to specific users.
A user can be granted access to all studies on the platform or to a single study only.

The Users page lists all users along with their assigned roles, and includes search and filter options to help you quickly find specific entries.

Notes:

  • Before you can assign a user to a study, the user must already be invited to the platform.

  • If you delete a user from a study, you re-invite them using the same process.


Adapt the user role for a specific study

Each user has two types of roles:

  • Platform role – the default role that applies across all studies the user can access.

  • Study role – the role assigned within a specific study, which can override the default platform role if needed.

By adjusting the study role, you can temporarily change a user’s permissions for one particular study without affecting their overall platform role. This is useful when a user needs different responsibilities in a specific project.

How to modify a user's role in a study

  1. Go to the study settings.

  2. Select Users.

  3. Locate the user and click the pen icon next to their role.

  4. Choose the new role and save your changes.
