Upload and organize study documents

The Documents tab keeps your study materials in one place, so nobody is hunting through email threads or shared drives for the current protocol. Files can be organized into folders per center, which is how you make sure each site sees the version that applies to it.

Supported file types: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, PNG, JPG and JPEG.

Add documents

šŸ› ļø Step by step guide

  1. Open your study and go to Documents.

  2. Drag and drop the files onto the page, or click Upload and choose them from your computer.

Organize them into folders

A folder belongs to a center, which is what controls who sees what inside it.

šŸ› ļø Step by step guide

  1. Click Add new folder.

  2. Enter a name and select the center the folder belongs to.

  3. Open the folder's action menu, the three dots, and choose Add documents.

  4. Repeat for as many folders as you need.

šŸ’” Tip: put the version and date in the file name, not just inside the document. A site looking at a list of PDFs cannot see which is current, and the most common documentation finding at a site visit is staff working from a superseded protocol they had no way of recognizing.
