Datacapt translates eCRF forms, ePRO questionnaires and eConsent documents into more than 85 languages, so participants can read and complete study material in their own language wherever they are.
This matters most on multi-center and multi-country studies, where consistency across sites is part of your compliance rather than a nicety.
What you can translate
In the Translation tab you choose what to work on: eConsent alone, eCRF alone, ePRO alone, or all three together.
Progress is colour-coded as you go. A completed translation appears in green, and anything still untranslated appears in red. You can add as many languages as you need.
đĄ Tip: this is your study content: the questions, answers and documents inside one study. It is not the same thing as Platform Settings > Translations, which covers your Subject Database questions and privacy opt-ins across the whole platform. If the text you are looking for is not here, it is probably there.
Set up a translation
đ ď¸ Step by step guide
Go to the Translation page.
Choose the default language.
Add a new language.
Translate the strings and sentences.
Follow the progress until nothing is left in red.
â ď¸ Warning: translation is manual, and a partly translated form still works. A participant assigned to a language with red strings remaining will see those items in the default language instead, with nothing to tell them or you that it happened. Finish a language before you assign anyone to it.
