An appointment schedule holds the visit slots participants can book into. You can create several per study, one for each pattern of visits you run.
Set up the schedule
Every schedule needs four things: a title, the number of visits, the type of booking, and how many participants fit in one slot. The number of visits is what lets you manage all the visits belonging to that schedule together.
đ ď¸ Step by step guide
Open the Schedules page of your recruitment study.
Click Create Appointment Schedule.
Give the schedule a title.
Set the number of visits.
Choose the type of schedule, sequential or open.
Set the number of participants per slot.
Type | Use it when |
Sequential Booking | The visits have to happen in a set order, and you want the appointments to follow that sequence. |
Open Booking | Participants can take any available slot for any visit, whenever suits them. |
Create the slots for each visit
Slots are generated from your general availability, following the characteristics you gave each visit. Set your availability once and the slots follow.
đĄ Tip: if you pay participants per visit, the payment amount for each visit is set here too, in the schedule, not on the study. See Configure, Manage, Export payment records.
