✨ Other Improvements
The eCRF Builder codebase has been refactored under the hood to prepare for the next-generation Builder coming soon. No user-facing changes in this release everything works as before.
Status filters now include color indicators for easier reading
Filter dropdown simplified (search appears only when needed)
Improved sidebar highlighting to better show where you are in the platform
🐞 Bugs Fixed
Emails: Fixed an issue where images (including logos) in emails could stop displaying after some time. Emails are now rendered consistently.
EDC: Improved readability of the randomization number in the eCRF.
EDC - Subjects: Fixed a rare issue where updating a participant’s contact details (email or phone) could affect their name information if it was not displayed in the list view. No impact if the name fields were already visible.
Filters: Center filters now display both the center name and its abbreviation consistently across the platform.
Surveys: Fixed a specific edge case where a questionnaire could stop earlier than expected when complex conditional logic was applied at the end of the form. This only affected certain configurations and has now been fully resolved.
🔧 Minor Releases
Release 4.22.1 - Wednesday 6th May 2026
🧩 EDC - eCRF
Resolved a display issue in Repeated Measures where, after deleting and re-entering data, fields could still appear as required and highlighted in red even after answers had been entered.
Resolved a display issue affecting some eCRF PDF exports, where the generated file could occasionally be difficult to read.
📧 EDC - ePRO
Corrected inconsistencies in ePRO status colors to ensure they accurately reflect the corresponding status throughout the workflow.
📆 CTMS - Recruitment & Scheduling
Visits created in the Scheduler are now correctly displayed in the participant portal, even when the related schedule has not yet been published.
Improved Scheduler consistency by ensuring weeks are displayed according to the configured settings. In some cases, the calendar could incorrectly start on Sunday even when this option was disabled.
Resolved a scheduling inconsistency where users could briefly see the schedule of another recruitment study. The correct schedule is now consistently displayed.
Optimized recruitment views to reduce loading times and improve responsiveness.
The “Apply to study” flow is no longer case-sensitive for email addresses, preventing duplicate or blocked registrations caused by capitalization differences.
🔐 Platform - Authentication & Navigation
Improved login redirection behavior in Mozilla Firefox. Users are now redirected correctly after authentication.
Corrected public login redirections to ensure users consistently reach the expected page after signing in.
Lists for studies, recruitment studies, and projects now retain applied filters and search parameters when navigating back to the page.
Resolved filtering inconsistencies that could appear after navigating back and forth between pages.
👤 Participant & User Experience
Long names and surnames are now displayed correctly throughout the database and interface.
Release 4.22.2 - Tuesday 12th May 2026
🧩 EDC - eCRF
Improved eCRF Dashboard pages performance which should display more smoothly, especially when loading large amounts of information.
In the eCRF participant view, the “Show closed queries” and “Hide closed queries” icon now work as expected. Previously, clicking the icon did not open or display closed queries.
Number fields are now correctly aligned in the eCRF instead of appearing at the top of the question area. Previously, the arrow controls appeared too high in the question area, which made the field look visually misaligned.
When opening a new inclusion, section statuses are now displayed correctly. Previously, some sections could display “status.undefined” instead of the expected status.
If a participant is marked as Excluded, the status is now clearly visible in the eCRF status. Users can also un-exclud participant when needed.
📆 CTMS - Recruitment & Subject Database
Fix an issue when exporting filtered view, now when exporting participants from a filtered list, all selected filters are now applied, including both participant status and questionnaire responses.

Participants can once again be added to a study by copying and pasting their Datacapt IDs into the search field, using “;” as a separator.
Improved cache handling after each release to reduce the risk of outdated pages being displayed after an update.
Additional interface refinements have been made to improve overall stability and consistency across the platform.
