Before starting the setup process, ensure your device is plugged in and charging for at least 30 minutes or is fully charged.
If the device loses power during updates, it can result in the device becoming corrupted and unable to process payments.

Remove the battery cover: Use a tool that wonβt cause damage, and lift at the small notch located at the lower-left corner on the back.
Insert the battery
Snap the cover back on securely and flip over.
Connect the charging cable: Plug in the charger to ensure it stays powered during updates.
Power on the device: Hold the power button (on the right side) for a few seconds until the device turns on
Select your language
Select your country
Select your WiFi network: a network with a password is required.
Wait for updates: The device will begin updating its software. This may take some time, so stay patient.

βοΈ Step 2: Register your Reader in DaySmart
β Step 1: Add the Device to the software
Log in to Stripe as an admin.
Go to More or the Settings Gear in Stripe
Click on Terminal
Choose Get started.
From the dashboard, go to Payments.
Click on Readers
If Readers is not available, refresh and start over, or π¬ Contact Us.
Choose Locations
Click the +New button.
Name it and enter the address, and save
Click on the correct location where this device will be used.
In the Readers section, click on the +Register Reader button.
Enter the Registration Code that is showing on the WisePOS E screen.
Enter a unique Reader label. This is optional, but it is recommended. then Save
It should show Registration Successful, applying updates. If it doesnβt, then on the WisePOS E screen, press Back, then Back again.
π¬ Step 2: Email to register the location ID
Once the Setup has been completed, your Location ID will need to be sent to onboarding@dashplatform.com. The location ID can be found within your Customer Stripe account.
Click on the "Payments" tab on the left-hand side.
Select "Terminal."
Choose the desired location, and the next screen will display the Location ID in the upper right corner.
π³ Step 3: Run your First Transaction
Once Dash support emails letting you know that your location ID has been added, you're good to go! Just create a new appointment and get ready to check out. It's that easy! Click on the button for your software below to learn how to take a payment.

Swipe from left to right to open the menu.

Click the second option, Generate Pairing Code.
Click the back button twice to get back to the DaySmart screen.
