After your device connects to your internet, it's going to look for any updates that might have been made while the device was in shipping. This can take 5-15 minutes, so stay patient.

While you're waiting, take a moment to locate your device’s registration code. It was sent in the email you received from CardPointe when the device shipped. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder if it’s not in your inbox.

🔒 Customer Mode Lock

Locking customer mode ensures a client isn't able to change or look at any settings. The credit card reader will display a static screen of the DaySmart or CardPointe Logos.

  1. In Admin Panel, tap all 4 corners of the screen at the same time if in customer mode already.

  2. Enable Customer Mode Lock

  3. After you enable Customer Mode Lock, choose Launch Customer Mode and press Okay.

  1. Click on Settings

  2. Select the Payments tab.

  3. In the left side column, click Device List.

  4. Refresh your webpage if the device isn't listed. Cardpointe makes conning super easy.

  5. If you want to edit the display name, click edit on the far right and save when done.
