Setting Up the S700
After unboxing your S700, follow these steps to get everything setup:
Connect the reader to power by plugging the provided USB-C cable into the port on the left side of your reader. You may need to hold down for 4 seconds
Connect the opposite end of the USB-C cable to the provided power adapter and plug it into a power outlet.
Once turned on, you will be prompted to select your language, and then Country from the list
Connect to your WiFi
Select your network from the list of networks
Enter WiFi Password, then tap Join
When there is checkmark next to your network name, tap Continue
Your reader will then load while it is connecting to the internet
When you are presented with the Register this reader screen, continue to follow the steps below within your software to enable the device

Web App Instructions
Login to DaySmart as an admin
Go to More…
Go to Settings
Go to Card Processing
If the reader is showing up, then it is fine. If it is not, then continue
Click on + Add New Device
Enter a device Name
Enter the Pairing Code that is showing on the screen.
If you no longer have the registration code screen appearing, swipe from the left side of the screen to the right side.
Press Settings
Enter the default PIN 07139
Press on Generate pairing code
Press Save
Once saved, the device will start to download updates and may take 5-10 minutes. Please do not turn off the device.
Mobile App Instructions
From the mobile app, go to More…
Go to Settings
Go to Credit Card Processing Settings
Click on Credit Card Processing Settings
Tap the sign at the bottom right
Select Stripe Reader S700
Enter Pairing Code from the device and give the device a name (optional)
Tap Finish when done
Once saved, the device will start to download updates and may take 5-10 minutes. Please do not turn off the device.
