S2L evaluations and live accounts have a Daily Loss Limit (DLL): the most you can lose in one trading day. It's separate from the max drawdown.

If you hit it
Open positions are closed and the account is Paused until the next trading day starts (6:00 PM ET). It isn't failed.
The DLL is measured from your balance at the start of the day. It doesn't trail intraday.
On a live account, the Risk Team may change or remove the DLL as part of scaling.
