We understand how important it is to have access to renewable and sustainable energy resources. dcbel is designed to be installed in a single-family home and not a multi-unit dwelling like an apartment building or plex (duplex, triplex, etc.).
However, the installation of dcbel to a semi-detached home is only possible if certain criteria are met:
Must have their own roof with enough surface area to install PV panels should they wish to benefit from solar energy
A single electrical entrance (as known as a load source) and a breaker panel with enough room for the required breakers (ideally 200A or more). 100A breaker panels may be eligible but must be confirmed by a SHIP site visit.
Dedicated indoor or outdoor parking should they wish to benefit from EV charging or black-out power
