Decipher is now integrated with Paypal so lenders can collect fees and payments from prospects directly from an application.

What type of PayPal Account is supported?

Integrations with PayPal only work with PayPal Business accounts.

What amounts are supported?

PayPal Checkout can be used to support a single product or service at a fixed price. For example, you charge an underwriting fee and would like to collect this during the application or on-boarding process. If you have questions, please check with our support team.

How do I go about setting up PayPal? Please submit a request to our support team to have a PayPal button added to your Application. Then follow the instructions in our articles Collect Payment via PayPal - Part 1 and Collect Payment via PayPal - Part 2 to Setup Your Paypal Button, Generate Your PayPal Checkout Code and Obtain your Client ID.

What will the integration look like on my Application?

PayPal checkout buttons can be added to many places on your application and can also be added to a separate section for prospects to only be able to see once they have passed preliminary approval status. Speak to your account manager to determine best setup.

What will clients experience?

When clients click on the PayPal button, the PayPal checkout window appears prompting them to log into their PayPal account and allowing them to pay from their account. There is also an option to pay via a credit/debit card. When their fee is processed, the window closes and they are returned to their application.
