Step 1: Click on Collateral Filing.
Step 2: Click UCC Company Search or UCC Individual Search, fill in the appropriate fields and Select the Data Service: Manual Search.
π‘Tip: Search Criteria - These are the actual terms that will be used to find the company or individual. Not recommended to put the exact legal name and best to take out "Inc.", "LLC", "Co", etc. The Search Criteria allows you to narrow the search to increase the possibility that you will find the company even if the company name is mistyped when filing a UCC1. A wild card is added automatically for First Corporate Solutions customers, which is an asterisk (*) after the name in order to expand the search.
π‘Tip: Customer Reference - Customer Reference is required and is a reference for you to classify your cost as this will appear directly on your bill.
Step 3: Click Get Report. Getting a report will generate a search charge. This will pull up a list of companies that match based on name/search criteria and you can view all associated UCC filings and even the related filings prior to ordering any report(s).
Sample search results: Click View to see the filings and any Related filings. Click on the Related filings to see the detail and determine which reports to order.
View the filing details and any related filings to determine which reports to order. Select the reports you want, then Get Report.
π‘Tip: Documents Unavailable Online From time to time, you may encounter a UCC document that is not available online by the UCC provider. This will be denoted with an X in the cloud icon. If you select an offline document, you will be ordering a document for the UCC provider to retrieve manually and you will receive the document via email once the UCC provider retrieves it. Note: you may incur an additional charge for this service from your UCC provider.
