Customizing your dashboard is key to getting the most out of deepdivr - whether you want to use the platform to monitor performance, deep dive into the data, or make a report.

There are many ways to customize your experience, but the two most important ones you need to master are: How to customize tabs and widgets.

Customize tabs

After creating a dashboard, your first view is 'Tab 1' (you can see your different tabs in the left-side menu).

Some users only work in this tab, but many users love the option to use several tabs to get the perfect dashboard.

Let me give you two examples:

Example 1

Tab 1: Summary of a campaign running on multiple platforms, e.g., Facebook, Google Ads, and Snapchat.

Tab 2: Detailed performance on Facebook

Tab 3: Detailed performance on Google Ads

Tab 4: Detailed performance on Snapchat

(you can use the same approach when advertising in multiple countries)

Example 2

Tab 1: Summary of a campaign running on a single platform, e.g., Facebook

Tab 2: Deep dive into target groups

Tab 3: Deep dive into ad performance

Tab 4: Monitoring the daily/weekly/monthly development of key metrics

Please notice you can rename your tabs to make navigation easier.

Protip

You can duplicate a tab to avoid creating similar tabs repeatedly.

Customize widgets

You can create different widgets to visualize your data. No matter the widget type, you can customize it by hovering over it and clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner.

Among the widget settings are:

  • Chart type

  • Resize

  • Rename

  • Select Platforms (whether or not to include data from all data sources in the dashboard or just one, like Facebook)

  • Date (per default, the widget follows the date picker on the tab)

  • Metrics (for the Result widget, for other widget types, you can select the metric directly in the chart)

  • Hide / Show data

You can read more about all the different widgets here.
