How to give access to Delve for your students

Many instructors choose to use Delve as their qualitative tool of choice for class projects, or for learning how to do qualitative analysis. As a simple and easy to learn tool, Delve is a great option for students learning qualitative analysis. With our flexible monthly subscription option, the pricing is very friendly for classroom use.

Here is how you can use Delve in the classroom, and ensure your students can access Delve for their class projects and assignments.


Benefits of using Delve in the classroom

Provide students with educational resources

Delve includes various educational resources such as the Free Qualitative Data Analysis Course, the Delve Learning Center, as well as a variety of helpful videos on the Delve YouTube Channel. The course, articles, and videos teach how to do qualitative analysis as well as how to use Delve. Feel free to integrate any of this material directly in your course's curriculum!

Collaborate on group projects

By using Delve, your students can collaborate in groups and easily share projects with each other Delve is cloud-based and accessible via any computer with internet access. This makes it easy to do group projects

Paying for Delve during a class

Delve offers very flexible and affordable monthly subscriptions that are very classroom-friendly.

1. Give students the link to start a Delve free trial

Give your students the link to start a 14 day free trial of Delve: https://delvetool.com/getstarted. Make sure they use their university email address in order to qualify for reduced education pricing, which kicks in after the free trial ends.

2. Pay for Delve on a month to month basis

After the free trial ends, students will automatically be moved into a month to month subscription. They will be charged on a monthly basis.

3. Cancel the subscription after the project ends

As soon as their project or assignment ends, students can cancel their subscription and they will no longer be charged.


Other Options

Instructor pays for the classroom's Delve subscription

If you want to pay for all the students' subscriptions for the semester, you can do that by starting a free trial on your own and then adding students as your team members. Students will get email invitations to start their Delve accounts.

You will be billed on a month to month basis until you cancel your subscription. Once you cancel your subscription, the students on your account will lose their access as well and you will no longer be charged.
