Assign Approvals to Individual Spec
Open the spec
Go to the Details tab
Scroll to the bottom
Toggle approvals on or off for this spec
Click Save
Set Up Default Approvals by Spec Type
Go to Dashboard → Global Settings
Click Spec Types tab
Click on a spec type (e.g., Door)
Go to the Designer Approval tab
Add approvals from the available list on the right
Set defaults that should be auto-enabled for new specs
Click Save
Now every new spec of that type will have those approvals pre-selected.
Create New Designer Approvals
Go to Dashboard → Global Settings
Click the Approvals tab
Click New
Enter the approval name
Click Save
The new approval becomes available to assign to any spec type.
Tips
Defaults save time when creating many specs of the same type
You can override defaults on individual specs
Delete approvals from a spec by clicking the X
