Before using a desk phone with DialLink, you need to add the device to your account. This step links the physical phone to your system.
Follow the steps below to register a new desk phone in the DialLink web portal:
Navigate to Settings > Desk phone.
Click the add button in the top-right corner.
Select the device model.
Click Next.
Enter a device name to identify the phone (e.g., "Front Desk", "Support A").
Enter MAC Address of the phone in the format
XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX.Click Next.
After this step, the configuration screen will open, where you can assign the desk phone to the DialLink user and numbers. Proceed with configuring the desk phone in DialLink.
How to find the MAC address
You can find the MAC address printed on a label on the back or underside of the phone. You can also find it in the device’s menu:
Polycom (Poly):
Go to Menu > Status > System Information. The MAC address will be displayed on this screen.Yealink:
Go to Menu > Status > System Info. Look for MAC address in the list.
