To start using WhatsApp in DialLink, you first need to connect your WhatsApp Business account. This step links your Meta (WhatsApp) account to DialLink and allows you to register phone numbers as WhatsApp senders later.
Note. Before you begin, check requirements for WhatsApp integration in DialLink.
Connect your WhatsApp Business account
To connect WhatsApp to DialLink:
You’ll be redirected to Meta to log in to your business account.
Log in using your Meta credentials.
Select the Meta Business Portfolio you want to connect.
Choose the WhatsApp Business account that will be used with DialLink.
Click Next.
After connecting your WhatsApp Business account, you need to add a phone number that will be used for WhatsApp messaging.
Important. Only DialLink phone numbers can be used.
To add a phone number:
Choose Add new number.
Specify a phone number from your DialLink workspace. The number must already be purchased and added in DialLink.
Select Text messages.
Click Next.
After you add a DialLink phone number, WhatsApp will ask you to verify it. The verification code will be delivered as a message directly to the Conversations inbox in DialLink. Enter the verification code in the WhatsApp setup flow and click Finish to complete verification.
The WhatsApp integration becomes active. However, WhatsApp messaging in DialLink is not available yet.
To start sending and receiving messages in DialLink, you must register this phone number as a WhatsApp sender.
