How to Search “My Farms” vs “All Farms” in DAS Portfolio

Understand the differences between All Farm and My Farm Options in DAS' Portfolio Product.

Updated this week

When running a query in DAS Portfolio, you’ll need to select between “All Farms” or “My Farms” as the dataset for your results. Understanding the difference between these options ensures you generate insights tailored to your needs.

🧭 My Farms

Selecting My Farms limits the query to only custom farms that have been manually mapped and saved within your own DAS Rural Platform account.

✓ Use this option when:

  • You only want to analyse farms that your team has mapped.

  • You are running queries specific to known clients or internal datasets.

🌾 All Farms

Choosing All Farms runs the query across every ratable property in the DAS database plus any custom farms. This delivers broader insight across the national farm dataset.

✓ Use this option when:

  • You're conducting market-wide research or comparisons.

  • You want to include properties outside of your custom mapped data to overlay against your own mapped farms to get an idea of market share.

How to Choose Your Dataset

  • Navigate to the top of your Portfolio query interface.

  • Use the “Farm Dataset” dropdown menu to select either All Farms or My Farms.

  • This selection must be made before running your query. Results will vary depending on the dataset chosen.
