Q What is Company Settings

Company Settings module where all the core information about the company subscription, its various settings is centralized in one place for you to access and control your use of the platform. This includes UK Companies House registered information about the company, subscription and billing information, its address and website etc. It also enables control of which colleagues can access which modules on the platform​.
Advisor Company Settings are accessed via Company Index.

In the Company Settings, there is an Index containing information about your company.

Companies House Core Info

Information that you've given during registration is here and a direct link to Companies House and Direct link to Companies House Snapshot of your company.

You can see a snapshot of your company including your Filing History, Officers, Persons with Significant control, etc.

Advisor Permissions

You can add your advisors to modules from here.

Add advisor website url, email of contact and tick the box.

FAQs

Q: How do I update my company's information?

There's a limit to which info you can update, just the ones below. You can do that under Location, Website and Socials.

Q: Can I change the company’s development stage?

Presently, you can't. You can contact support@diligentsia.co.uk if you have any issues regarding this.

Q: Can I set different permissions for users?

Yes, you can assign specific roles and permissions to users in the "User Permissions" section. For more info on this click here to go to the article on User Permissions.

Q: As an Advisor, can i delete my own company on the platform?

Yes you can start the deletion process by going to Advisor settings on the left panel, then click on Delete Company. You'd have to book a call with the CEO to complete the deletion process.

Q: Where can I access the Company Settings module?

A: The Company Settings module can be accessed from the Company Dashboard. Look for the “Company Settings” button.

Q: Why can’t I see the “Company Settings” button on my dashboard?

A: Ensure you have the necessary permissions. Only users with access rights to company settings can view this module.

Q: How can I update my company’s address or website?

A: Navigate to the “Location, Website, and Socials” section within Company Settings to update this information.

Q: Can I update information retrieved from Companies House?

A: No, Companies House information is auto-synced and cannot be updated manually. Update the information directly on the Companies House website.

Q: How can I view my company’s filing history?

A: Go to the “Companies House Core Info” section in Company Settings to view a snapshot of your company’s filing history and other details.

Q: Can I add or remove directors from my company information?

A: Director information is sourced from Companies House and cannot be manually changed on the platform.

Q: Why can’t I change my company’s development stage?

A: The development stage is locked after initial registration. Contact support@diligentsia.co.uk if changes are required.

A: Yes, you can delete a company using the “Delete Company” option in Company Settings. Note that this action is irreversible.

Q: What happens to my company data if I delete it?

A: All data associated with the company will be permanently removed from the platform. Ensure you back up any critical information before deleting.

A: Yes, go to the “Advisor Permissions” section in Company Settings to control advisor access to your company’s data.

Q: Why can’t I change the subscription model for my company?

A: Only the account admin or owner can manage the subscription model. If you’re the admin, check the “Subscription Model Info” section.
