Integrating Checkout.com with Disputifier

This guide walks you through generating an API key in your Checkout.com dashboard and connecting it to Disputifier. The full process takes about 2 minutes.

Before You Start

You'll need:

  • Admin access to your Checkout.com dashboard

  • Access to your Disputifier account

Step 1: Generate a Secret Key in Checkout.com

  1. Log in to your Checkout.com dashboard.

  2. In the left-hand menu, go to Developers β†’ Keys.

  3. Click Create a New Key, then select Secret Key.

Name the key Disputifier so it's easy to identify later.

Step 2: Set the Key Permissions

  1. On the key creation screen, click Customize.

  2. Enable the Payment Search permission.

  3. Leave all other permissions at their default settings.

  4. Click Generate Key, then confirm by clicking Create Key.

  5. Copy the generated secret key. You'll need it in the next step.

Important: Checkout.com only displays the secret key once. Copy it immediately and store it somewhere safe before closing the dialog.

Step 3: Add the Key to Disputifier

  1. In Disputifier, navigate to Integrations.

  2. Click Add Key for Checkout.com.

  3. Paste the secret key you copied from Checkout.com.

  4. For the MID field:

    • If your MID name appears in the dropdown, select it.

    • If it's not listed, leave Select MID as-is.

  5. Click Save.

You're Done

Disputifier will now begin pulling payment data from Checkout.com to support dispute and chargeback management. If you run into any issues, reach out to our support team.
