Refund Process Information

Refunds on cancelled reservations are processed by the marina and are in line with the Marina Specific Cancellation Policy, you can get help finding these policies here. Marinas are responsible for managing and issuing all refunds, and they have the tools to do this for you, in Dockwa. The Dockwa Support team can process refunds if necessary but only with the express consent of the marina.

Marinas are asked to take action on cancelled reservations and refund requests within 72 hours or sooner. They are sent automatic notifications so that no refund requests are missed. If a boater is eligible for a refund we will work with the marina to process the refund within 72 hours of the cancellation request. In some extenuating circumstances, it may take longer.

Please note, depending on your bank, it can take 5 - 10 business days for them to process funds back into your account. These timeframes vary bank to bank, and have nothing to do with Dockwa.
