Hello !

On October the 15th 2021, there was an update on the Dokeos XLMS portal. We detail in this article all the elements deployed in production.

Important information

Following our report on the incident of October 4, 2021, here are the actions taken and deployed in production :

  • Creation of a read-only database replica. The exports will now be generated on this new database to free the main database ;

  • Consolidation of statistical exports in a single "Job" on our asynchronous server to reduce the waiting list ;

  • Elastic increase of the RAM of the asynchronous server during peak hours.

Corrections

  • Fixed an error in the generation of certificates at the end of the training ;

  • Fixed loss of answers in a survey module ;

  • Fixed display of embedded content for mobile devices in a learning module ;

  • Various translation corrections ;

  • Fixed the API that allowed the creation of a participation on a draft course ;

  • Fixed inability to delete a learner from the portal if they were enrolled in a Learning Path ;

  • Correction of the sending of Regulatory reports containing no data ;

  • Correction of data upload to Dendreo for sub-portals ;

  • Correction of the access to a training through the catalog when the participation was created by the groups ;

  • Fixed a display issue on the learner dashboard with mobile devices.

Changes

  • Added a warning in case of error in the web address encoded on the browser to arrive on the portal ;

  • Adding the creation date of the user in the detailed learners report ;

  • Display of icons / texts in the CKEditor in the user's language ;

  • Optimization of input and output logs on the modules.

News

  • Minimum time on SCORM
    It is now possible to determine the minimum time to spend on a SCORM module when you add one in a course. By clicking on the "Configuration" button after adding a SCORM module in the scenario of your training, you will get this small window. The score and completion settings remain and the minimum time is added to the conditions to complete this module. This means that your learner will only pass the module if the SCORM sends a completion information to the LMS AND the minimum time is reached.

Don't hesitate to give us some feedbacks about the update.
