After some big months of hard working, we are extremely happy to announce the deployment on your portal of the Training Sessions !
Context
When you wanted to train some groups of learners on the same training but with different dates, you should duplicate the training as many times as necessary. This is now over !
Thanks to the Trainings sessions, you can now define a whole bunch of dates settings for a group, a session then.
Prerequisite
There are a few tips to know and to do to prepare and optimize the usage of the feature :
Prepare a clear plan of training with your different groups, their specific dates, their proper details, and so on.
Prepare you training(s) as a "template" that will contain only the modules without any date settings.
If the modules "Webinar" and "Presential" are meant to host meeting session specific for training session, don't encode any meeting session when you create your template.
How is it working
The basis of the feature is integrated to the "Group" tool. Indeed, one Training Session appeared to be the training of a group of people on specific dates. You'll need then to create a group of users and encode dates for their trainings !
When you create a new group, you can enter the group name, pick the responsible person(s) and add members.
Then, you can chose which training(s) the group must follow.
Once the selection done, for each training, you can chose the access type and the dates.
If the training contains synchronous modules (Webinar or Presential), you can create meetings sessions available only for this group.
And it's also possible to define a deadline for a Project module only for this group.
API
If you connected Dokeos with your own system, you can also use our new API calls that will allow you to automate the whole process of creation and subscription to Training sessions !
