What charges does my account have?

Understanding Your Account Illustration

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Your account’s product charges and projections are detailed in the illustration provided during the application process. You can find a copy in the “Documents” section of your client portal.

What the Illustration Includes:

  • A summary page with projected account and redemption values under different performance scenarios, net of product charges

  • Examples based on varying growth rates to help you understand potential outcomes

These figures are illustrative only—they are not guaranteed and do not represent minimum or maximum returns.

All clients are required to physically or digitally sign their illustration when applying for an account.

What Affects Your Final Account Value?

The actual value of your account will depend on:

  • The total amount you contribute

  • The performance of your selected investment funds over time

  • Any withdrawals made

  • Applicable product charges

All values in the illustration are shown in your account’s currency.

What Are the Standard Product Charges?

Product charges vary based on your specific account type and the plan set by your financial adviser. As a general guide, they include:

  • A Setup Fee of USD 25

  • An annual Administration Fee charged over your investment / contributions

Administration Fee examples:

  • Single Contributions: 1.6% for the first 5 years. 1.0% thereafter

  • 10-Year Savings: 1.35%

  • 15-Year Savings: 1.15%

  • 20-Year Savings: 1.15%

A portion of these charges is reserved through Establishment Units (EU), which are allocated at the beginning of your account and used to cover fees over its duration.

Changes in your account's portfolio ("Fund Switches") do not incur fees.

More information about how charges are applied can be found in the Terms & Conditions of your account. For full details on your account specific charges, refer to your signed account illustration in the Documents section of the client portal.
