Annual Management Charge
Fund managers charge an Annual Management Charge ("AMC") to manage assets within a fund. This charge varies from fund to fund and is included on each fund's "Fact Sheet" as well as in their "Offering Memorandum". The AMC is typically a percentage of the total assets under management within the fund.
👉 It's important to note that fund prices are net of the AMC. This means that each fund's performance, calculated as the variation in prices, is also net of the AMC. This ensures that the performance of the fund accurately reflects the returns earned by investors.
One thing to keep in mind is that there is no charge for switching funds in your account. This means that you can make changes to your investment portfolio without incurring any additional fees.
