When automatically provisioning Doorways via SCIM2 in Okta, you can create a custom attribute to automatically assign a Doorway to an Administrative Unit.
Create your required Administrative Units in your Doorway Portal
Access your Okta portal
Navigate to your SCIM2 application for Doorway
Click on the "Provisioning" tab
Click on the "Go to Profile Editor" button
Click on the "Add Attribute" button
Enter the "Display name" as "Administrative Unit"
Enter the "Variable name" as "administrativeUnit"
Enter the "External namespace" as "urn:ietf:params:scim:schemas:core:2.0:User"
Click on the "Save" button
On the "Profile Editor" page, click on the "Mappings" button
Click on the "Okta User to SCIM 2.0 Test App (Header Auth)" tab
For the "administrativeUnit" attribute, enter the expression you wish to use to assign a Doorway to an Administrative Unit. Please refer to our SCIM2 Schema when implementing your required expression.
Click on the "Save mappings" button
