If your dosh Visa debit card is about to expire and you are an active dosh card user, we will automatically replace your card before it expires.
Keep an eye out for a message from us to remind you that your card is about to expire. We will also ask you to check your address in the dosh app is correct so we can ensure we are sending your new card to the correct place.
When your replacement card arrives:
Keep using your current card until it expires. Do not throw out your current card until it expires.
Activate your new card in the dosh app on the first of the month from 1pm after your current card expires.
Once your new card has been activated, you can then discard of your old card and start spending with your new card.
When will my dosh Visa debit card expire?
Dosh Visa debit cards are valid for 3 years from the time you order your dosh card.
You can view the expiry date on the back of your dosh Visa debit card, or in the dosh app by going to Dosh Card > Card details > Card expiry date.
When exactly will my current card expire?
You should continue to use your existing card until it expires which is around 1pm on the first of the month (e.g. if your card expires on the 31st of October, continue to use your card until 1pm on the 1st of November). Once the card expires, you will be provided the option to activate your new card in the dosh app using the activation code provided on the card.
You can view your cards expiry date in your dosh app by going to Dosh Card – Card details – Card expiry date.
I’m not at home when my new card is expected to arrive:
If you are away from your delivery address in the lead up to your card expiring, you have the option of activating your card in app. Your new card will have the same card number so you can activate your card on the 1st using the last 6 digits of your current card. You can then use Apple or Google Pay to make purchases until the physical card arrives.
Do I need to re-add my card to Apple or Google Pay?
No, you can continue to use Apple or Google Pay without needing to re-add your card.
