You can use your Dosh Visa Debit Card in store and online anywhere Visa is accepted.
Simply Tap & Go where PayWave is enabled, or enter your dosh card details when shopping online.
Where PayWave is not enabled, you can insert your dosh card into the payment terminal. Then, be sure to select 'Credit' as your account, enter your PIN and complete the transaction.
If a "Contact Issuer" error occurs during insertion, ensure the payment terminal is compatible and that you select 'Credit' as the account type.
The dosh card is a prepaid debit card. You can only spend the available funds in your dosh Everyday account. You can check your available balance by opening your dosh app. If you would like to spend money from your Stashes, simply transfer the funds instantly into your Everyday account before making the purchase.
Adding money to your dosh account is instant in-app via Windcave (includes a $0.70 flat fee), or you can transfer directly from your bank account for free. From your app, tap 'Add', then follow the steps provided.
Note: In NZ, inserting a prepaid debit card into a payment terminal requires selecting 'Credit' as the account. Selecting an incorrect option may result in errors or declined transactions, such as the "Contact Issuer" error.
