Sometimes, we may require more information from you to complete your Dosh verification. Remember, Dosh is a registered financial services provider, and as such adheres to strict NZ compliance regulations. We need to ensure all the security boxes are ticked so our Dosh fam can rest safe in the knowledge their money is safe, at all times.

These tips will help you complete verification at sign-up quickly and easily.

  1. Have your NZ Driver's License or Passport at the ready.

  2. When prompted, make sure you enter your details exactly as they appear on your chosen ID.

E.g. If you go by Mike in everyday life, but your name is displayed as Michael on your Driver's License, please ensure you enter Michael. Same goes for Chris - Christopher, Bree - Brianna, Fred - Frederick, Susie - Susannah, etc. You get the picture! When we have your full name as shown on your ID, it means we can get you set up straight away, without having to ask for further details from you.

  3. Ensure you enter your Driver's License number and version correctly. Double check you have copied this into our verification form precisely.

  4. Has your ID expired? Please double check, and be sure to use your most recently issued license or passport when signing up with Dosh.

  5. Don't have a NZ ID? Please contact the team on support@dosh.nz letting us know the details.

It may seem like we are asking too much, but we have to – it’s the law! We're all about keeping Dosh safe for everyone, and with the above tips you'll be set up and ready to start using Dosh in no time at all!
