Guide to Head Coach Requirements in Dragonfly for Delaware Sports and Rules Clinics
Step 1: Verify Coach's Team Assignment
Ensure the coach is assigned to the correct team for the sport that has the requirement. If the coach is not on the correct team, update their sport assignment accordingly (If you need a refresher on how, click this link).
Step 2: Select the Sport To Designate A Head Coach
Step 3: Designate as Head Coach to Require Rules Clinic
In the below example, the coach is not yet designated as Head Coach, so the Rules Clinic will not show in their eligibility requirements. This is reflected by the Rules Clinic column being marked as not applicable.
From an Administrator login, designate them as Head Coach by checking the box and selecting Certified.
Please note: This action can only be done by someone with a DragonFly Administrator user role at the school (such as an Athletic Director)
Now, the relevant Rules Clinic will appear in the coach's eligibility requirements, as seen in the screenshot below.
