Approvals are a security feature for DragonFly MAX schools. But parents don't have to wait for approval to complete their child's paperwork.

When you see this alert...

...chances are you are wondering what "Waiting for Approval" means.

Honestly, the only thing you need to do as a parent or athlete is tell your coach that you've signed up for DragonFly MAX. "Waiting for Approval" does not restrict your ability to fill out paperwork or get ready for the season in any way.

About the Approval Process

The approval process in DragonFly MAX is a security measure to allow schools to determine who has access to communication channels in their organization. When a user enters their school code, they are asking to be let in to that school, so they can then become a part of the different teams.

Think of it like this:

  • I walked into the school building to attend the first day of class, but I have to register in the office before I am allowed into the classroom.

  • Once I'm registered with the office, I can start participating in everything at the school, like joining a team; going to the library; or talking to my classmates, teachers, and coaches.

Once you have been approved by your coach or athletic director, you'll be added to your team's roster and can start receiving messages and calendar events from your coach.  Best of all, the only thing you had to do was create your DragonFly MAX account...no other steps.
