How do I set up controls on my payment accounts?

The 'Edit Account' button is where you set which people or roles have access to a bank account, DragonFly Cash Account, or credit/debit card

Note: Only users with the following roles have access to financial portions of the system: Financial Administrator, Bookkeeper, CSFO, CFO, Athletic Director, Principal, and Administrator. Click here to learn how to update account permissions and roles within your organization.

1. Log in to DragonFly on your computer's web browser and select 'School Funds' or 'Organization Funds' from the left-side menu.

2. Select 'Manage Accounts' in the top menu bar.

3. You will now see a listing of all credit/debit cards, bank accounts, and DragonFly Cash Accounts. To edit permissions on any account, select the drop-down arrow, then the 'Edit' button.

How to Edit Permissions for a Bank Account

Scroll to the bottom of the setup panel, where you can select which groups (by role) and/or individuals can use the account. Checking accounts are used to transfer money onto DragonFly for paying officials, game workers, and invoices. They're also used for withdrawing money you may receive from collecting registration fees, dues, and postseason funds from your state association.

In the 'Groups' drop-down menu, select roles at your organization.

In the 'Individuals' drop-down menu, type a name and then select their account.

How to Edit Permissions for a DragonFly Cash Account

Scroll to the bottom of the setup panel and select which groups and/or individuals will have access to view the cash account and which users have access to send payments from the cash account.

In the 'Groups' drop-down menu, select roles at your organization.

In the 'Individuals' drop-down menu, type the name of a person and then select their account. Select the 'Save' button to update your account controls.
