How to Add a Deposit to a Proposal

In this article, you will find a step-by-step guide on how to add a deposit to a Proposal for one of your customers.

​1. Click on 'Sales Pipeline'

2. Locate the Deal Card You Want to Add the Deposit To

Locate the Deal Card you wanna add the deposit on

Note: You will only be able to add a deposit to proposals that have not been sent or accepted yet.


3. Click on the Customer Name

Click on the customer name

4. Locate the Proposal in Your Customer Deal Card and Click on It

5. In Your Proposal Settings, Locate the 'Deposit' Option

On 'Settings', locate the 'Deposit' option

6. Click on 'Add'

7. Select From the Dropdown Which Type of Deposit You Would Like to Set

For this example, we'll be using 'Percent.'

Select from the dropdown which type of deposit you would like to set.

8. Click on 'Percent'

Click on Percent

9. Set the 'Deposit Amount' for Your Customer

Set the 'Deposit Amount' for your customer

10. Click on 'Save'

For the example, we'll be using '25%'

Click on 'Save'

11. Notice That the System Automatically Calculates the Deposit Amount Based on the Proposal Total

12. Click on 'Customer View' to Confirm How It Looks on the Customer's End

Click on Customer View to confirm how is it looks on the customer end.

13. Notice the Deposit Amount at the Very Top of the Proposal

14. Notice the Deposit Amount Also at the Bottom of the Proposal
