Adding Categories to Products and Services

This article will detail how to create Categories and organize Products and Services under those Categories.

1. Click on Products / Services

Click on Products / Services

2. Click on Categories

Click on Categories

3. Click on Add New Category

Click on Add New Category

4. Name the Category

Name the Category

5. Enter the desired Unit(s) of Measurement

Enter the desired Unit(s) of Measurement

6. Click on Save

Click on Save

7. The category will now be displayed under Categories

Assigning Categories to Products / Services

1. When adding or editing a Product / Service you can now click Assign Category

When adding or editing a Product / Service you can now click Assign Category

2. Select the correct Category

3. Click on Save

4. You'll be able to select the Unit of Measurement from there

5. Click on Save

Products / Services with Categories on Proposals

1. Click on Add Line Item on a Proposal

Click on Add Line Item in a Proposal

2. Choose the Product / Service that has the Category attached

Choose the Product / Service that has the Category attached

3. The Unit of Measurement assigned to that Category will now show up under Quantity
