Why did this custom label reviewer say something different than last time?

Review protects the roaster, not a guarantee. Two reviewers can flag different issues. The $2.75 is still due.

The review is there to protect the roaster’s license with the FDA. It is not a stamp that your label is fully compliant, and it is not a promise that the next reviewer will only look at the last note.

You are still responsible for the label. Why are custom labels reviewed?

Two reviewers can flag different things

The first pass might catch net weight. The next pass might catch identity size, intervening art, or a claim the first person did not mention. That is the review, not a bait-and-switch. Fix everything on the checklist, not only the last sentence in the email.

The $2.75 is still due

Each submit is a paid review — first time and every re-approval. We do not refund because a later reviewer found a new issue. Why was I charged another $2.75 label review fee?

What to do

  • Read the reject reason on My Custom Products and in the email.

  • Run the whole checklist before you upload again, not just the last flag.

  • If you write in, include the label ID#.
