How long are practices?

Practices are about an hour held once per week.

When do practices start?

The first team practice is officially held during the week prior to the first game.

Where are practices?

Practices are held not only at Cottonwood Soccer Complex but also throughout schools and/or parks in the Bismarck area. These practices locations are provided to DUSC and managed by Bismarck Parks and Recreation. Bismarck Parks and Recreation are provided dates and times that the fields are available based on school sports/activities. Those fields are then disbursed to be used by multiple clubs in town, not jus DUSC.

Please understand that requests to switch teams for a different practice date and time are likely not to be given due to the effort put forth by our employees to develop a level playing feed.

Can I request the practice night I would like?

No. We are sorry but we can't take requests for practice nights. Teams are built based on the number of registrants keeping schools and numbers in mind. Our program is also run with the help of volunteer coaches. Practice days and times need to also accommodate their schedules. We highly recommend open conversation between parents and coaches.

I can't find practice dates and times, When/where do you post them?

Practice dates and times are not created until after teams are generated and we have coaches for teams. Those volunteer coaches choose days and times that work for them. We couldn't run this program if they were not involved. We rely on them and in doing so work with their schedules. Once dates and times are chosen they will appear on your player's team page. Parents and participants will see a Visit Team Page link after logging in.
