How Featured Product Works

By default, the app works on product pages. Create a product, create an event, and that product’s Add to Cart shows as “Select a Time”.

However, if you want to add Easy Appointment Booking on any page you will need to add the product (which has an event) on this page. The easiest way to do that is to add a section called "Feature Product" on your theme editor.

Go to your theme editor, select your page, and add a section called "featured product". Once the "featured product" has been added to your page, your Add to Cart button will be changed for a Book Now button.

Note: you may not see the "Select a Time” button while editing your website. Please check it on your live website and it should appear!

Alternative A: Use Book Now button

The book now button is a floating button on your homepage that launches all of your available events in a pop up so your customers can select this.

  1. Click on the Widgets tab.

  2. Set your button text and content header.

    1. The button text is what shows up on the button, which is positioned on the bottom right of every page.

    2. The content header is what appears in the pop up when you click the button.

  3. Set your font and button colour.

  4. Select if you want the button to be displayed or hidden.

  5. Press Save Changes and Visit your Shopify site.

Note: this is available on our Pro plan!

Alternative B: Add a homepage button (requires Shopify Theme edit)

Edit your Shopify theme and add a homepage button. Here's a live example for inspiration: https://fingerprintsbylivescan.com/. Please note, we don't offer customization services for this, you would have to use the Shopify theme editor to create this.
