After setting up SSO on your account, you'll need to convert any existing accounts to SSO. To convert an account is very simple. You just need to log in with the SSO Login URL we provided.
Once you log in with SSO for the first time, your account will be transformed into SSO. And all data will keep the same. Now every time a team member is invited to the team. They'll be forced to join as SSO users.
Existing members on teams you already have won't be forced to log in with SSO. You'll have to send them the SSO Login URL of your Company. So they can be converted to SSO.
Note:
Old EasyRetro users (from your Company), who already signed up before the SSO set up, will have to use your Company's SSO URL to be converted to SSO.
If you set up SSO via Okta or a similar service, here’s what you have to do:
In order to log in via Okta, you'll need to create a Bookmark App on Okta (you have to create this app because we use SP-initiated authentication).
If you don’t know how to create a Bookmark App on Okta, click here to check out this step-by-step guide from Okta Support.
📝 Note: When configuring the Bookmark App, the URL field must be filled with the custom SSO Login URL we send to your company once your SSO setup is completed by our Tech Team.
This URL will look like this: https://easyretro.io/sso-login?companyId=saml.customer-sso
Please make sure to use the correct URL provided to your company. This is the link your users will use to log in to EasyRetro via Okta.
Once the Bookmark App is created, users will be able to log in to EasyRetro using the SSO Login link from your company.
