In this article, we will share three options that you can use to change the owner of your company's subscription.
If you have access to the current owner's account. You can transfer the ownership to another account with our “Transfer Subscription” feature.
To do that, first, you can access the current owner's account page.
After that, click on the “Transfer Subscription” button.
After clicking on "Transfer Subscription," you will see a message saying:
“Are you sure you want to transfer your subscription?"
If you agree, you can confirm the transfer by selecting the option “I am sure I want to transfer my subscription. This cannot be reverted."
Now, add the email of the user (registered on EasyRetro) that will receive the subscription/ownership. To conclude, click on the “Transfer” button.
Note 1: When you transfer a subscription, you will also move all the teams. And all team boards as well. Public boards can not be transferred.
Note 2: After transferring the subscription, the payment details will remain the same. If you don't want to keep the same payment method, you will need to update them. Otherwise, the previous owner will continue to be charged. Click here to learn how to update your payment details.
If you don't have access to the current owner's account. But you can access their email. Here's what you can do:
First, you can access our reset password page and reset the password. Click here to reset the password.
Once you have a new password, you can log in to the owner's account, and you will be able to use the “Transfer Subscription” feature we mentioned in option 1.
If you don’t have access to the owner's account/email. You can contact our Support Team.
Our Support Team can make the transfer for you. In order to do that, you will need to send us an email to (firstname.lastname@example.org) informing us:
The email of the account that has the subscription/ownership.
The email of the account (registered on EasyRetro) that is going to receive the subscription/ownership.
The receipt from the last payment. In case you don't have access to the receipt, you will have to confirm the last four digits of your company's card and the card brand.
This procedure usually takes one week to be completed, and we will let you know by email once it's done.
