Linking a Document to a Ballot

How to attach a Word or PDF document to a ballot

Documents can’t be uploaded directly to a ballot. However, hyperlinks of documents should be first hosted on online platforms (such as Google Doc, Dropbox etc.) then the hyperlink can be copied and pasted into the ballot.

  • One option is to paste a hyperlink-link in the Ballot Instructions box under the Settings tab.

Another option is if a document is related to a candidate (resume, biography etc.), the document’s hyperlink can be pasted in the Resume box for the candidate.

  • Click on the Questions tab. Create a question.

  • Click on Add Choice.

  • Click on Candidate

  • Paste your link and click on the hyper-link icon to hyper-link it in the resume.

  • New Window will allow the hyper-link to open in a new tab in the browser.

  • Click Save.
