Alt text is a short description stored in the image's code. It helps SEO and accessibility. You set two templates in Settings — one for product images, one for variant images — using tokens that are filled in automatically: [product_title], [product_type], [product_vendor], [shop_name], [variant_title]. A live preview shows the result as you type.
The Overwrite option is off by default: the app fills only images that have no alt text yet and leaves alt text you wrote yourself alone. Alt text is available on paid plans.
