Add users to your PX360 account and sync with Xero

Adding users to your PX360 account is crucial for creating projects and assigning tasks. If a user already exists in your Xero account, you'll be able to sync with the Xero Payroll Integration when you add them.

In the Settings section of your Dashboard, click Create User. Enter their information in the popup and check the box to sync with your Xero Payroll integration.

Name

Name of user to be added

Role

Send Email Checkbox

Checking this box will send a welcome email to the user that you added.

Email

Email address of user to be added

Cost Per Hour

Hourly rate for user

Mobile

Mobile phone number for the user

Overtime Cost Hour

Overtime hourly rate for user

Xero Payroll Integration

Check this box to sync with Xero's Payroll integration for this user.

Employment Type

Category of employee

  • Employee: on business payroll. This enables timesheets to be exported from PX360 to Xero.

  • Sub-Contractor: hourly rate payments. If exported from PX360 to Xero, an expense invoice is automatically created.

Employee Name

Select the user's name from dropdown.

If user's name does not appear, click Download Employees button to sync the latest information from Xero.

Earning Rate

Select the user's category of earning rate from the dropdown.

If earning rate does not appear in the dropdown, click Download Earning Rates to sync the latest information from Xero.

Overtime Earning Rate

Select the user's category of overtime earning rate from the dropdown.

If overtime earning rate does not appear in the dropdown, click Download Earning Rates to sync the latest information from Xero.

The Xero system can take up to 24 hours to sync your user with PX360. If you don't see the Xero Payroll Integration box, you can either wait until the systems have had time to sync, then Edit User to check the box, or click Download Employees to do a real-time sync with Xero. This will refresh the selected list.

If you still do not see the user available, check your Xero payroll section settings and re-download.

Note: Users can also be deleted on this screen if permissions allow. This action cannot be reversed so be sure to only delete when necessary.
