How can I become an individual employer?

🔎 To pay an individual service provider in CESU benefits, you can set up an individual employer status in 4 easy steps:

  1. Make sure that your employee (private individual working in your home or approved assistante maternelle [daycare provider]) is registered with the CRCESU,

  2. Depending on your personal situation, register as an individual employer with either the URSSAF CESU or URSSAF Pajemploi (see What is Pajemploi?) or CGSS (Caisse Générale de la Sécurité Sociale [General Social Security Bureau]),

  3. Pay your employee with your Edenred+ CESU benefit, supplemented by another means of payment if necessary,

  4. Declare wages paid and hours worked online on the URSSAF CESU, URSSAF Pajemploi or CGSS website (depending on your personal situation).
