Share Your Insights on the News Feed

The News Feed tab on your fund profile is where you can share recent performance commentary, press releases, awards, and thought pieces with your investors. This feature lets you provide timely updates and insights that go beyond your formal documents.

Getting Started

To add a new post, simply fill in three key fields:

  • Title: The headline for your post.

  • Type: Categorise your post (e.g., Performance Commentary, Press Release, Thought Piece).

  • Privilege Level: Control who can view the content. We suggest setting any general marketing communications to 'Low.' The privilege level only applies to users you've specifically invited to your Fund Portal. You can learn more about privilege levels in our help centre.

Important Note on Monthly Commentary πŸ“’

If you select 'Monthly Commentary' from the Type list, your post will automatically appear in your Monthly Report document. You also have the option to link this button to your own newsletter within the data room. For more details on this, please contact support.

Formatting Your Content

You can paste commentary directly from your own newsletter. This allows investors to read a standalone commentary on the News Feed tab and access the full newsletter in the adjacent Documents tab.

To format your text, you will need to enter additional characters. You can make text bold or italic, and also add links, images, and graphs. This is illustrated in the example below.

You may wish to add a link to a document contained within the 'Documents' tab or add an external link to your own website. To add an image, it must first be hosted online elsewhere (on a service such as Dropbox). If you require private image hosting, please contact us and we will arrange this for you.

Tables are created by adding a vertical pipe | as a divider between each cell. Add a line of dashes --- (also separated by pipes) beneath the header row to create a dividing line. Please note that the pipes do not need to be vertically aligned.

Example

February Overview

In February, equity markets once again rallied. Optimism over economic stimulus, through tax relief and huge infrastructure spending, once again pushed equity markets on both sides of the Atlantic to new highs. In addition, US economic data were stronger than expected and helped to boost risk appetite. Hawkish comments from the Fed at month-end increased the perceived possibility of an early rate hike in March, helping to consolidate equity market uptrends and sending the US Dollar higher. In Europe, uncertainty surrounding the upcoming French elections and the possibility of a Le Pen victory continued to weigh on markets, while the increasing probability of a "hard Brexit" caused similar sentiment in the UK.
