The data storage system used in the backend of the FundPortal document rooms is Microsoft Azure Storage, which is the leading enterprise-grade solution. So your FundPortal benefits from all the latest security standards, continuously updated, for storing and retrieving data.

All data is encrypted through 256-bit AES encryption, one of the strongest block ciphers available, before being saved in the storage, and decrypted on the fly upon access. Only your FundPortal application can access and decrypt your files. This solution is is FIPS 140-2 compliant.

In addition a strict firewall only allows your FundPortal to access its data storage backend.

Moreover, all data is encrypted in transfer (while moving from the storage to the end user and from the admin user to the storage upon upload).

The files are also scanned for virus and malwares when they are uploaded, before being saved in storage: this avoids unknowingly spreading malwares to your users.

Finally, we keep an auditable log of all access to the files.
